LIKE A GIRL

I recently saw a beautiful commercial that resonated strongly with me and I had to share it.  Always has come out with a commercial and
campaign that challenges how we perceive what it means to do things “like a girl.”

We hear it all the time. You run/hit/act like a girl. You are such a girl. Since when did this become demeaning? I`ve heard this phrase spoken to myself and girls around me for as long as I can remember. While marketing should not be teaching us self worth, the commercial makes us aware of the social issue and hopefully will start to eliminate this belittling term from our vocabulary. It is time that we realize that doing things like a girl should be a positive, empowering thing. We will act and do as girls do, because we are girls.
